Funeral services for Hi Parrott, 81, were held Saturday, February 14, at 2 p.m., from the Church Of God In Christ. Mr. Parrott passed away February 11, at his home after an extended illness. He accepted Christ at an early age.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucy Parrott, Forest; four sons, Joseph Parrott, David Parrott, Alfonzie Parrott, Howeard Lee Parrott, all of Forest; six daughters, Mrs. Earnestine Bobbitt, Mrs. Dessie Evans, Mrs. Betty Butler, Mrs. Helen Love, Mrs. Gertha Lee Haralson, all of Forest, Mrs. Gracie Mae Williams, Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Bobbie Jackson, Memphis, TN; one brother, Sylvester Jackson, Memphis, TN; 40 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Three brothers preceded him in death. Pallbearers were his grandsons. Holifield Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.

Jim married Lucy Fulton, daughter of Trudie Lowry Fulton. Lucy was born in 1914 in Mississippi.

   3 M    ii. Howard Lee Parrott was born in Jan 1939 in Scott Co., Mississippi and died on 2 Feb 2008 in Forest, Scott Co., Mississippi, at age 69.

   4 F    iii. Gracie Mae Parrott Williams was born in 1943 in Scott Co., Mississippi and died in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.
